HMWSSB — Excess billing and unnecessary arrears being charged | |||
My CAN No:[protected]. All of a sudden in Oct 2014 I got a water bill for 157504/-. The problem mentioned then was that the CAN number category has been changed from Domestic to Flats. After representing several times it has been rectified to Domestic again but I am still facing two issues: 1. Wrong water bill though partially corrected has still some amount of Rs 53373.61/- as arrears from the past software mistake. 2. The monthly charges has been increased from Rs 243/- to Rs 1119/-. I am unable to register a complaint online with the HMWSSB since I have arrears amount in my bill. I have personally represented and given letters in this regards to the HMWSSB office at Sainathpuram AE. Hence I request you to kindly look in to this and do needful to correct this.
