[Resolved] Home Shop 18 — Faulty product of Dr. Morepen BP Combo (BP Monitor BP06+GlucometerBG02+Thermometer MT105) | |||
I have bought a Dr. Morepen BP Combo (BP Monitor BP06+GlucometerBG02+Thermometer MT105) from Home Shop 18 vide order no.[protected] placed on dated 28th April 2014. When the product was delivered to me on 30/04/2014, I immediately checked it & found that thermometer was being faulty & was not displaying any numbers/characters. I raised a complaint on home shop 18 toll free number[protected] on 01/05/2014 for the replacement of Dr. Morepen’s Thermometer device & customer care executive informed me that the same will be replaced with in 5-7 days. But despite of my numerous follow ups I got a replacement on 15/05/2014. Meanwhile, I observed that Glucometer (Model BG02) is also not showing the actual result of sugar level. My dad is a diabetic patient & we bought this product since it was being sold by Home Shop 18 & Dr. Morepen which is 25 years old trusted brand in Pharma, Surgical Equipment and Medical Devices sectors. Yesterday on 06.06.2014 when I checked my father’s sugar level using same model i.e. BG02 it shown 116 mg of sugar. We cross checked with our doctor and the same was 259 mg on his device. I got surprised that there was almost 150 mg of difference due to which we could have faced a huge problem if same had been ignored & was not cross checked on other device. By god’s grace my father got timely treatment and his health is stabled now. Yesterday itself when I called up your CCE Mr. Praveen on above toll free number and shared my experiences. I also requested him to get it replaced since from the date of purchase whole product have been shown a weird results & same look to be a manufacturing fault. But he (Praveen CCE home shop 18) didn’t listen anything & told me that I can go to consumer court and any online consumer complaint redressal forum. I got surprised to hear his words, I mean at such a junior level position he challenged me to do anything which I want which seems something ridiculous & uncalled for. Upon my several request he lodged a complaint no.[protected] against my order no.[protected]. Home shop 18 has been a trusted brand & such a pathetic after sales service can ruin their market reputation. Therefore, before going to a consumer court I once again request you people either refund my money or get the complete combo replaced with recently launched new model BG03 of Dr. Morepen.
