[Resolved]  Homeshop 18 — refund of courier charges

Address:Panchkula, Haryana

I ordered a book online from Homeshop 18. Although the book was advertised as being in English, when it came it was in Manipuri, and was therefore useless to me. The link to the book on their website is as follows: http://www.homeshop18.com/your-doctor-doesn-know-nutritional-medicine-may-killing-you/author:ray-d-st... When I complained, the company told me to courier the book back to them. This I did by Blue Dart courier at a cost of Rs. 310. Although the company told me by phone that they would refund the cost of the courier, now they are saying that they will not refund the cost of the courier, but only ten percent of the cost of the book, which would be Rs. 17. I wish to file a case to compel them to refund the cost of the courier, as the whole episode was entirely due to their incompetence and because of this I have suffered a loss of Rs. 300. Their contact number for complaints is [protected]. The number of my order was[protected].
