[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — Complaint #[protected] dt 21 June 14 against order #[protected] for product wooden IT Table recd by me on 18th June afternoon

Multi purpose wooden IT table was recd by me on 18th afternoon. The piece is defected as one screw does not work and as such not able to adjust the legs' height as required. I informed HS18 customer care on the 19th June. I was ensured for the replacement of the piece. As per their instructions I packed the item together with a letter mentioning the fault. Since 21st June I have been calling up the customer care executives, have spoken to many seniors (team leaders) of the executives requested, pleaded but all fell on deaf ears. On the 4th July I decided to return the product and take my money Rs.1499 back, which I was promised by HS18 on phone (I hope the conversation is being recorded at your end). Every time I have been promised that I shall get back a call from the team leader as they are never available to speak when I call As of today now 11.30 a.m. of 11th July the faulty product has not been picked up from my house. The manner adopted by HS18 with a consumer is highly objectionable, it has caused me immense harassment and plenty of telephone calls. I hereby claim for the damages caused by HS18 by way of increasing my blood pressure due to harassment, many important meetings and issues I had to ignore waiting for the pick up of this faulty table, as such causing waste of my precious time.

Dear Homeshop18,

If telephone calls are being recorded at your end you will find out that I have called up several times informing them that the house is never locked because I have live in domestic helps and most of the day I am at home being a retired senior citizen. But it seems you do not wish to resolve this issue.

My complaint was lodged on the 11th July and today is 23rd July with no luck.
