[Resolved] Homeshop18 — HomeShop18 is a Scandal House | |
Dear HomeShop 18,
AND I DEMAND A REPLY.
My uncle and aunt stay in Nainital, and in this year’s chilling winter I thought of gifting them a room heater. I ordered a Khaitan Room Heater- order no[protected] to their address. They received a damaged product (not expected), so we decided to replace it.
I called the HomeShop18’s customer care, and they told me to send the product back, so that they can send the replacement. I asked my uncle to send the courier back on the provided address. He did the same and for that he had to spend Rs.900.
My return Courier no is - D20174813, which was received on 31st December.
After that nobody contacted us from HomeShop18.
I called the customer care and the executive from HomeShop18 said that “we will get back to you”. But when I did not received any notification for about a week I called you guys again. And just like the last time, I got the same reply that “we will get back to you.” But as expected nobody contacted us.
I raised a ticket (ticket no[protected], but soon I realised, that my ticket has been CLOSED without solving the problem. So I raised another ticket (ticket no[protected].
By this time half of the winter was passed and the gift was nothing more than point of embarrassment to me.
Yesterday when I opened my Homeshop18’s account, I saw that both of my older tickets are showing as CLOSED.
I got ridicule and I raised another ticket, ticket no[protected]. I called the customer care, and again, I got the same reply (we will get back to you).
Just wanted to keep your Facebook page in loop, so that others can also get a lesson from my incident.
Problems which I have faced because of HomeShop18:
• My uncle and aunt received a damaged product as a gift
• Spent Rs.900 for sending the product back (I was expecting a person from your end would come and not only collect but replace the good at the same time)
• Poor/ negligent customer service
• Fake assurance from your customer service person
• Inefficient communication channel, which CLOSED the open ticket, not once but twice
• Last but the most important one, I sent this heater as a gift in the winter season, and now even if the replacement will come, it will almost be summer time
