[Resolved]  Honda Cars India Ltd. — Fraudulent service and rude staff

Date: 24 Nov' 2014 Dear Sir/Madam, I had booked Honda Amaze/EMT/petrol/silver on 8 Aug'2014 at Ring Road Honda, Sugoi Motors Pvt Ltd. Booking amount of Rs.20, 000/- for the same was paid on the same date. The delivery of the car was promised on 30 Nov'2014. First installment of Rs. 4, 50, 000/- was made on 25 Oct'2014. I got a call from Honda in Nov requesting me to come over and finalise the car number. Considering the same i went over on 23 Nov'2014 and it was then that i was told that the model i had ordered cannot be delivered as the plant has been shifted and there are transit issues, and i will have to go for the higher model EXMT of the same whether i wish to or not. I was not even informed about the change before. All i got was a "Sorry for Miscommunication". When i protested they changed their statement saying they informed us, for which you can check all the call details with the telecom service that i never got any call except the one where i was requested to come over to select the number of the car. They shifted their blame by saying they had communicated and we had agreed for the higher model. Mr. Raman Kumar ([protected]), Chief Manager at Honda Ring Road, Sugoi Motors Pvt Ltd. was extremely rude and uncooperative. He just said you have no other option and you will have to go for the higher model as the advance made cannot be returned and we cannot provide you with any other option or special services as compensation. He refused to listen and was not even ready to compensate for their mistake of not informing in advance about the unavailability of the model ordered. They asked for a day's time to see what they can do about the same and today all they said was that i will have to pay the extra amount for the higher model as there is no other option. The car was a 'Wedding gift' for my daughter, that was to be given on 6 Dec'2014 so i had no option but to pay the extra amount for the higher model for now. Such poor service and rude behaviour from the staff of Honda is a shame to the company. I would request you to take strict action against Mr.Raman Kumar and Mr.Vipin (Honda Ring Road, Sugoi Motors Pvt Ltd) and compensate me for such arrogant and careless behaviour by the staff, else i will have to go to the Consumer Court to take further strict action.
