Hot Deals Bazaar — fraud fraud fraud!!! | |||
I got a call saying its from credit card information on behalf of citibank credit card and gave a sales speech that they are providing me a Credit Card which I will get upto 20% discount and minimum 15% directly while using in any Shopping. Also with some other Gifts like a Pair of Shoes, a Silver Spoon Set, one food Voucher. And they told for First 12 months they will take some Rs 540 per month and said this will only be charged after the card has been issued. Also they called me several times with the Information confirmation. Then when I gave Green Signal the 6995/- debited from my Citibank Card immediately. I called them several times after that and no proper response on why money got debited earlier than what they said. Now I see same complaints everywhere in the Internet. Feeling really low about myself. Help me get the experience out and in recovering my loss if possible. I have the full conversations recorded automatically in my phone. It has happened to me to. Please help me recover the money, this company has taken all credit card details in name of ICICI bank and taken away Rs 6995/- from my credit card. This is as the same experience what Mr Nithin has experienced.

I have told hotdealsbazar not to send the package after realizing that is as a fake call and not from Banker.
And also raised disupte for the payment with the banker and my banker (CIT) has taken dispute and they gave temporary credit and initiated investigation.
Please let me know @ [protected] if any additional action to be taken in order to get my amount back.- Vinay

I got a call from hot deal bazaar.. They were giving six deals and asking for Rs 7900 something. This is the number from which I got the call. [protected]. Request everyone to add this number in true caller as "Hot Deal Bazaar Fraud"

I too got fooled by Hot deals bazaar. I got a call saying they are from ICICI bank offering me free gifts and hotel stay by hot deals bazaar and they debited Rs 6995/- from my credit card. Will someone please look into this?
I also had a bad experience with Hot deals bazaar. Until I purchased, I was thinking it was from my banker SBI but realized later that these guys have no relation to the bank. Besides they sold the three products like shoes, silver spoon set vouchers as free to the complimentary card and charged me for the card as life time charge. After receiving the products, I realized that they have cheated me with wrong information. I tried reaching them and raised my concern asking them to refund me. They assured they will look in to it but I didn't not hear any favorable replies yet. I am still calling them and hoping someone will pick up the call and respond promptly.
Since I am from South India, the card is totally worthless. They do not have any tie up with most of the vendors here and its really waste having the card.

I have approached my banker (Citi) and they also investigated and told that since this is a secured transaction they can't do any thing.
I have also approached thru online complaint revolver Akosha.com and paid some amount to file complaint against Hotdeals.
Accordingly Akosha people spoke with them and told me that hotdeals have agreed for repayment. But they have not yet refund my amount.
So as a second step Akosha people sent a written complaint to hotdeals and waiting for reply from them.
If I don't get refund then they will file a complaint in cosumer court as a final step.
Does any one complained so far either with police/cyber police/ consumer court?
We can prove that the IP address of particular transaction is of hotdeals.
They have two websites.

They don't mention their address in their site. whatever they mention in their sites are also false.

I too face this and i have one question did you say Ok conformation two times to them?
but in my case initially i gave OK conformation but in the second time i didn't have any OK concern i asked them to refund the amount and a week later i got a mail from them like As per as we have refunded your amount in your card the payment will reflect with in 3 to 4 working
whether anyone got like this they will refund the amount or not?

It is ZZAR and not ZAR.
I didn't any interaction with http://hotdealsbazar.com so far.
Had problem with only ZZAR site.

I too faced the same kind of tactics but escaped when they asked the OTP I didn't disclose so no amount is debited in my card.

I too got same call. They stated that calling from credit card department and bank planned to issue new credit card with photo, so need to close old one. Before closing the credit card we are offering some free gift for old credit card point. So he asked all the details of credit card and told that we need some inform of old card and need some number to close the old card which u will get in mobile in sometime . I got continuous call from four guys within 15 mins. They are not allowing to think what is happening and what is going to happen. So i revealed all my details of the card, then they debited money from account, i realize that they are after revealing my otp. then i got call from hotdeal bazzar. Just they are asking ‘ok' or ‘not ok‘. If we say ok that gift will Go to that fraud address. But first time i said ok on same day.. but again i got call from hot deal bazzar For again confirmation. but i told not ok due to fradulent, i told them i didnt order anything, i reveal all my detail to fraud, they order the product, so cancel the order and try to Refund the money. Then they Refunded that amount in 4 days. But they took cancellation fees. Anyway
Anyway that fraud didnt get the product

I regret to state that the company executives are duping the customers
posing as Bank officer and thereby roping the customers into deals stating
that credit card number and expiry date and also talking as a bank officer.
I hv duped of Rs.8000 debit to my Standard Chartered Credit card a/c.
There is only one way out that all have to file a complaint against the
company in the court.
