Myself Prabhakar Sarma Neog, Asst Prof.at NIT Silchar. A few month back I bought a HP Envy laptop (sl. no. 5CD4375BWG, Model no.15-k112tx) from your partner in Silchar, M/s Advantage, Hospital road, Silchar - 788001, Assam.
A few days ago I've noticed that one battery lock is missing, Without the lock the battery does not stay in position. So today (19th March, 2015) I took the laptop to the above mentioned dealer, M/s Advantage and described the problem to them.
To my utter astonishment, one employee started to question me aggressively, as if I am responsible for it. When I tried to explain the problem again to him, he got angry and started insulting me in front of my wife and daughter. It seemed to me as if didn't understand what I am telling him and took it personally.
Eventually I lodged the complaint using the HP support toll free number but the incident left me upset and humiliated, that too publicly.
I insist that HP look into the matter and reprimand the employee. I would also like to have a detailed account of your action. Was this information helpful? |
