[Resolved] HP India — Poor quality product and Fraudulent charges for repair

I bought an hp envy ultrabook 2 yrs ago for around 50k. Recently one of the hinges broke on it's own and I had to pay 4000 to get it repaired at the hp service centre. I had to visit the centre thrice because they hadn't repaired it properly inspite of charging such a fat fee. They assured that I'll have a warranty of one year for the service. Within a few weeks time, the second hinge also broke and I had to carry my laptop to the service centre again. I expected them to repair it for free as it was under warranty. They were instead asking me to pay 4000 more for the repairs as it was not the same hinge. I told them it's their fault that they didn't repair and fix the screws properly few days ago when they opened the screws of both hinges for repair work. To my utter shock the hp service people themselves replied stating that it's not their fault but the device itself is faulty and has a lot of complaints against it. I'm utterly disappointed with hp's service and if they do not provide me with a replacement or repair it for free I will proceed to lodge a complaint with the consumer court.
