I have purchased the HTC desire 826 on 13th April from a local shop in Kolkata.it's just been a month that my mobile is facing an issue with touchscreen.It's really been an unpleasant experience with New handset like HTC.I had talked with shop member they advised me to get in touch with service centre.I have visited to service centre in Kolkata after long hours of waiting they mentioned there is an issue with hardware and it will take time more than 1month to repair.how can I wait for such a long time?I can't understand how come a new phone of a reputed brand like HTC can give such problem within a month.This is the first time am using HTC and I am so upset & disappointed with your product . I bought my HTC Desire 826 on 19th of June 2015.The first problem I faced was overheating. After a month of operating, I found that touch is not working properly. I have to tap 5-6 times for the touch to work. When I googled, i found out this is an identified problem with this model of HTC. Most of the customers are facing the same issue after one month o[censored]sage.

Hi even I am facing the same issue n these service center n customer desk people don't even bother about this n for them taking a new handset for repair is small issue which may take upto month. Its our hard earned which is getting wasted in HTC

MY HTC 826 IN COMPLAINT WHITHIN 15 DAYS USE THE TOUCH NOT WORKING PROPERLY.
SERVICE PEOPLE SAID TWO WEEKS TIME FOR REPAIRING.AFTER ONE MONTH A MESSAGE RECEIVED ME FROM HTC TO COLLECT DEVICE FROM COLLECTION POINT BUT ITS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PHONE, NOT MINE.HOWS ITS HAPPEND? Had bought my HTC Desire 826 on 17th July 2015, after almost 3 weeks o[censored]sage, it started giving me touchpad problem. Touchpad is not working and have to press 67 times for starting an app.. Pathetic phone. would never recommend anyone for this.

I have been using HTC desire 826 since 5months, previously I was facing a touch problem but now I have noticed camera problem.
HTC desire 826 front and back camera both are 13 MP.but when I compare i found front camera is even worse than any others mobile 2MPcamera.
This is the first time I bought HTC and so many problems.
please help me regarding this matter.I attached2 photos.upper photo is taken by front camera and lower one taken by back camera.

Hi.i purchased HTC desire 826 from reliance digital hyderabad in may 2015.earlier i face battery drain up issue.now the touch is really a neusence.iam. Unable to take a call or dial any number.its really frustating to use such well know brand.its really true naam bade darshan chote.not getting what to do now.whom to ask.invested my total pocket money savings.and one more thing the lollipop software is fake.when u click on the software version u get game related to is version like android jellybean, kitkat etc.but htc 826 lollipop is absolute fraud.they are cheaters.phone looks classic high class but when operated its below 3rd class.

It is not a hardware problem. Its a software issue and possibly that is lollipop update is creating issues not only in HTC but also in almost all phones. Go back to HTC service center and try to downgrade the Lollipop to Kitkat and the issue will be resolved. One of my friend did the same and the phone is working perfectly now. Hope that will help you all

I purchased an Htc desire 826 from flipkart in June and in December I starting facing a problem with my cell. Its touchscreen isn't working properly. I have to tap like 10-20 times to make a call or use an app. Its highly irritating. I've sent my cell to Htc Service Center, Gurgoan. God knows what they will say and how they will fix my phone. After reading all the comments here I repent buying this cell. Never thought Htc would disappoint me so much.

I am facing the same problem mentioned above...the touch is not working all the time and I have to press 4-5 times for one touch...it is irritating. I visited the service centre and they simply took my phone and updated software and no miracle happened. It is in same bad condition. Prior to HTC I was using Micromax phone which was good enough with low pricing.

I'm in Indonesia, I would say this HTC desire 826 dual sim is a crap.
I have i for 1.5 months and now in service center for about 1 month and they don't tell me about the problem, when it will finish.
Service center in Indonesia is not owned by HTC and their call center routed to malaysia, their lack of information to tell me about the problem, The told that my case is the first case, hahaha I see that I'm not alone and not the first one from this site.

I bought HTC desire 826 dual sim on 15th January 2016. Within 1.5 months its screen has stopped working totally. This is the worst smartphone of our family where all my familymembers are using samsung, moto and lava smartphones. One thing is for sure HTC really needs to really stop their company production or else should really work on quality.
