[Resolved] Hyundai Motor India — HOPELESS SERVICE AT SATARA WORKSHOP. | |||
I am having a Hyundai car-Getz, Reg No.MH-12-DY5872, Model 2007, purchased at Pune. While travelling towards Kolhapur on 25th of November 2014 the engine stopped working at Satara. The call was given to your Satara Dealer( Kanse Autowheels Pvt Ltd) and your engineer visited the site and after scanning told me that there is no problem in the car. The car engine started working after touching some wires, but after 6/7 kms.running again it stopped working and the engineer dignosed that the fuel is not working and the same should be replaced and it will take some 2/3 days time as the same is not available at Satara. In the mean while a motor mechanic having small garrage was called by my friend and He said that the fuel pump is OK and only the crank censor is faulty and the same should be replaced. Since it was not possible to change the censor outside Your service engineer was requested to take the vehicle to the workshop. There the car was lying for about EIGHT days and everyday some other fault was detected by your mechanic which was not there at all. I was constantly requesting them to change the crank censor. Insteadof doing that they changed the fuel pump which was not necessary. The vehicle did not start. Then the enineer informed me that the ACM( ECM) is not working and the engine requires O/H. As I was not satisfied with the suggestions after 7days on 2nd of December 2014, I took the delivery of the vehicle without any repairs and the other engineer in Private Garrage " AUTO SCAN CARE HELP LINE " just changed the crank censor and the vehicle was ok within ONE hour. I could drive the vehicle and come back to Pune without any difficulty. The O/H would have cost me not less than Rs. 40, 000/- which work was done just in Rs.3000/-. Your service center kept the machine open .I had to spent Rs 1500/- towards labour charges for fitting the same(Timing refitting). and also Rs.850/at your service center towards their charges for doing nothing. In this process unnecessarily I had to incure expenses of Rs.5000 to Rs.6000/- for going to Satara From Pune on 2-3ocassions. Will the company reimburse me these expenses and Physical agony suffered by me. Was this information helpful? | |||
