[Resolved] Hyundai Motor India — Wrong & anti consumer practice by Hundai Delaer - Shreeram Hyundai | |||
I have been struggling with your Dealer Shreeram Hyundai (Borivali West) Dealer since last few days. They have quoted me an insurance value for my vehicle booking for Elite I20 Booking ID C[protected] which is far higher than the prevailing rates in the market. On speaking to them on disparity, they said they cannot consider these rates overcharging since these are provided by Hyundai Motor India & cannot be changed. Reason I was given that these rates are provided by Online Hyundai portal & cannot be changed. My request to them if you cannot be competitive I will get the insurance done myself. Insurance is a Third Party product & no customer can be forced to have an insurance with particular Insurance company by Hyundai Motor Limited. Their contention was these rates are driven by Hyundai Motors India Ltd & customer has no choice but buy insurance from Hyundai Motor India Ltd. If this is true, then the practices are monopolistic in nature & cannot be accepted. I had given a complaint with your call centre & email team on 8th October Got a call yesterday morning after 7 days against prescribed TAT of 48 Hours for the case, on call I requested for immediate solution as my car is already due for delivery. I was promised that I will get a second call from the escalation/grievance team & problem will be sorted out Tuesday itself. Even after requesting to get this sorted out yesterday I have not got a call from the escalation team. None of the no’s mentioned by the team for second level escalation are reachable. They are constantly engaged. No’s that I am trying since last 4 days, not even once, I repeat not even once I was able to get through. No’s are mentioned below. You can try them yourself to check. Complaints not acted upon for 1 week, Local escalation office no’s are not reachable what is customer supposed to do? I have come forward to highlight wrong practices followed by the dealer & HMIL is making me feel like in am the culprit. All the no’s given above were constantly engaged or giving busy tone.
