[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Credit card verification process | |||
Hello, I applied for a credit card and I get a call from a person claiming to be ICICI representative asking me to verify my personal data over phone. I tell the person that I will not do so as there is no way to verify if the person is indeed from ICICI and I ask for a call back number, so I can verify that indeed it's ICICI. The person then hung the call. I call back ICICI customer care, and they don't seem to understand this concept, that customers cannot be expected to give away their personal data over phone to some random person w/o proper verification. I asked customer care to connect me to verification department, and I was told it was done by a 3rd party and they cannot transfer. Is it really so, that bank is giving away customer's person data to 3rd party vendors who have no sense of personal data security. Process should be such that customers should call ICICI bank, connect to verification unit and then verify whatever is needed. Secondly why is there no senior management, ombudsman contact in the ICICI web pages.? Anil- Was this information helpful? | |||

I am a ICICI credit card holder and i do transaction through the same.
Actually, i have a problem with this credit card, which is my email id updated is [protected]@gmail.com with this card is wrong. The correct email id is [protected]@gmail.com. Several times, i tried to contact your customer care no's for rectify the same, but i failed. Now i am totally fed-up with this case, because i am not getting the proper monthly statements from your end.
So i requesting you to please do the rectification process at earliest and confirm.
Once again, my correct email id is [protected]@gmail.com
