[Resolved] ICICI Bank — FD shows the balance as 0 and the amount was not credited back to my a/c yet. | |||
I have opened two Service requests for closure of FD accounts on 10 Oct and it was told to me that they will get closed in one business day. These FD's should have been closed automatically on there maturity date(5 Aug, 2014 and 4 Oct, 2014) but didn't. Reason told to me was due to conversion of resident a/c to NRO a/c. It was not told to me when i get his a/c converted to NRO. 6 Business days have been passed and the service requests are not closed yet. I am calling everyday to customer care and everytime i am being told that they will be closed in 1 more day but didn't. Now they are saying it is pending at branch and they can't do anything. My FD shows the balance as 0 and the amount was not credited back to my a/c yet. I didn't expect this kind of service from ICICI bank and its customer care. Customer care is the only contact that we people have and they should own the responsibility to solve every kind of issue. They can't simply say that as its pending on branch they can't do anything.
