[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Travel card — charges are not reversed even after merchant cancelled it | |||
I used my travel card for online purchase and the merchant cancelled the transaction because I used my card on my friend's account -- since the card details did not match with the account details at merchant. they cancelled the transaction. T I've been charged $145 on Travel card - I called customer care and the they kept saying that I need a Void Slip from merchant to get the refund. Merchant has cancelled the transaction and have not charged anything, Still these customer care guys are kept on saying i need to go back to merchant's bank. Are you serious -- why should I goto merchant's bank ???? I need a refund of $145 which was never charged by merchant and amount is held by ICICI bank Here comes the most frustrating part -- when I was on call for over 30 mins with customer care -- the guy on the other side just hung up the phone - saying few times that he is not getting any response from me. What is this going on.. I am on vacation in US and so i hoped to use this card and now It seems I;m banging my head with these guys everyday for an hour or so.. Was this information helpful? | |||
