ICICI Bank — Uninformed DEMAT DP CHARGES for Closed Account | |||
There was an unrecognized transaction in my account which shows some DP charges Till Jun[protected] and a sum of Rs. 283.59 has been deducted without any notice. Please note that I have closed my Demat account two years before (probably 2013) and surrendered all the documents to the ICICI Demat Branch, Ahmedabad as well. Also, I did not received any message alert to my registered mobile number regarding the amount deduction. This is completely unacceptable and therefore requesting to recheck with your concern department and refund the amount back to my account as early as possible. I have seen a previous consumer complaint regarding this but didn't expect the same to be repeated. Was this information helpful? | |||

I received immediate response from the bank authorities but again the process has slowed down. Even after submitting the closure application the account was not closed. I was told via telephone that the process of closure will be initiated from the concerned bank dept as early as possible (Max 3-4 days after the complaint service registration). Thereafter, I would be receiving the information regarding the account closure and refund. But till now I haven't received any response other than service request number: SR[protected].
