ICICI Lombard Insurance Company — Refund on cancellation of policy, due to wrong commitments

Bought a car insurance renewal policy from ICICI, Promised IDV was 1.83L, however the policy received was 1.72L. Upon asking to cancel, I was told on 23rd Dec that I will get full refund as my new policy was to come in existence from 31st Dec 2014. Now I am told it will be on Prorata basis. Back office says that on 8th Jan, why this happened don't know. Upon continuous follow ups and emails came to know on 30th Jan 2015 that policy is not yet cancelled. They are the worst people. Should not buy ICICI products.
