[Resolved] Icici Lombard — Motor insurance claim, extra amount charged for processing | |||
I have sent my vehicle hr 51 ap 4405 in toyota showroom (Thirty six toyota) for repairs. They got surveyed the vehicle from icici lombard and told us that they will just clear 3 items and we need to pay rs. 1000 as processing charges. Now they have made a bill of rs 18518.0 and want me to pay rs 7448.0 despite of cashless policy. The showroom is saying that insurance company is charging double the processing fees and many parts are not passed by them. We could have done the repair outside showroom if they had clearly told us the amount. They kept us in dark and now not giving my car for last 5 days. I am not able to reach office as no public transport goes to that location and there is very high taxi charges which i am paying everyday.
