ICICI Pru Life Insurance — Need to cancel my application as application pending due to medical reports

I have purchased online term policy ICICI smart plus on 3rd march 2016.My application no. is OB05204850.Earlier i was told the medical is not required and if required then it will be done at my home.So for my convenience i took this policy.After wait for medical on appointed date when no one turned up, I contacted Healthassure Team on 8th March, but didn't received any response.After that i made so many calls to customer care, at last they registered my request on 17th march 2016.But till date i have not received any medical call. After re contacting it was told that the policy will be in force only after all clearances as medical reports etc. But as ICICI is unduly delaying the medical and i have taken the plan on 3rd March, after medical clearance the policy should be in-force from the date of purchase.Why this delay made by company is to be added on my part.i think the main motive of the company is make you customer, but doesn't have any customer care services, these ways you are loosing faith and credibility.i am not going to recommend ICICI to any one around, as 5 to 8 of my friends were interested in term plan and they were just waiting to know companies review.Either cancel my application and refund my money or in-force the policy from purchase date or i have to go to consumer forum/IRDA.
