[Resolved]  ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — malpractice and unfair business practices of handling new policies

I had invested in a icici prudential pinnacle super –lp policy in june 2011 with policy no. 15593175, I have regularly paid 1 premium there after in june 2012, in sept 2012 I had received a call from Mr. Rahul khanna cell no: [protected], I was informed that this pinnacle super has been taken through an agent as a result regular additions are not being added to the policy and were paid to agent instead. I was given option of switching the policy for which I was asked to take a new policy, I initially thought there is something fishy about the call but Mr. Rahul khanna could access and provide me the details about my policy that I had asked, and also deactivated my online access to pinnacle super plan, also added a new email id and corrected my old email id, whihch was wrongly registered, blockd the online access toicici pinnacle super plan, this forced me think that he is some one directly from the icici prud office, and I also received a call from land line no. [protected] who claimed to be assistant to Mr. rahul khanna (m/s monica Sharma). Who helped me the process to taking a new policy GSIP plan with policy no. 17067718 in oct 2012 for which regular addition was added in jan 2013 as quoted in the policy brochure. I was instructed not to pay any additional premiums in policy no. 15593175 in june 2013 and by oct the policy would be merged with GSIP plan policy no:[protected]broker: net ambit insurance broking india ltd, code:[protected].i followed the instructions. In may 2013 I was given changed phone no. of Mr. Rahul Khanna [protected], also was contacted by m/s monica Sharma [protected], stating that my policy will be handled by mr. aman verma, who had called me from his cell no.[protected] (no. still in use last spoken to him 3 days back), also his assistant Mr. naveen jain would regularly call me from [protected], [protected], Mr. aman verma told me that I had 2 premiums of policy no. : 15593175 and 1 premium of[protected] hence 2 premiums are still due I was told if I paid those premims in advance I can do partial withdrawal in jan 2014 and can still avail benefits of policy no.[protected] with out any additional premiums being paid. For this I paid a chq worth 2 premium amounts to vide chq no. 238928 sbi bank and written my name, cell no. And policy no.[protected] on the reverse( photo proof attached) but again I was contacted that this chq would be adjusted against a new GSIP policy no.[protected] advisor: smc insurance brokers pvt ltd DM channel, code[protected] this policy is neither signed by me nor the policy documents were submitted by me this policy was forced on me, i was told that bot he policies will be merged with the existing gsip[protected]. And I don’t have to pay any additional premiums in any of the policies. When I complained about the repeated calls from icici cust care regarding non payment of premiums Mr. Aman verma told me to give his mobile no. to cust care for any clarification. Which I did and recently when I received a msg and mail regarding the policies being lapsed and that I would furgo any investment already paid then I tried to contact the team who was in touch with me but since no one responded I had paid an premium in policy no[protected] and revived the policy but not received any additional premium till date and also fear for my investments already made in policy no. 15593175 and GSIP policy no. 17762122. I kindly request you to help me in this matter by asking the company to refund all my premiums in policy no 17762122,[protected]. in this regard i tried mailing the insurance ombudsman but i have recieved no reply from them
