ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — Premium deducted twice and not returned after complaint and follow up since last 2 months

Hi, I am totally unhappy and pissed off customer of yours because of your services. From call ID[protected] you will be able to get details of the case but still I want to brief you. I hold policy 16136609 with you since last 5 years. The annual premium for this policy is Rs.50000/-. This year in spite of having standing instruction my card was debited twice. When I realized the same I logged the complaint No. 85002678 where I was assured that the excess amount will be refunded back in 7-8 days. It didn't happened and ultimately I landed up paying my Credit card bill with this undue amount of 50K as the refund didn't happen before my bill cycle which was 10 days post I logged complaint. When I checked with help line again I was told the complaint is closed as no double payment was seen in the policy record. This blunder was done by you call centre lady named Ms. Kanta who had registered complaint against my different policy in spite of confirming to me about double debit after confirming the record. I escalated my complaint and talked to your so called team lead Praveen Kumar on 19th Dec'15 who logged fresh complaint no 85566316 and assured in 7-8 days refund will be processed. When after 10 days I checked my account I didn't find the credit so again I called up on 29th Dec'15 where I was told by Mr. Abdul that the approval has been received from your accounts on 23rd and refund will be processed in 7-8 days. Today again after not seeing refund in my account when I called up helpline I was told that the refund initiated has failed so fresh refund request has been initiated again on 31st of Dec'15. On this when I asked your call centre team to connect me to Praveen Kumar I was given reasons like he is busy with some other customer, he is taking his lunch (4.45pm) and I was kept on hold for nearly 25-30 mins and then call was disconnected. Now again this month my credit card bill cycle is due on 10th of this month and if I don't get credit I will again end up paying undue amount. I am seriously planning to approach Consumer court in this regards to recover my financial losses as well as the mental stress I had gone thru because of this issue. Unfortunately I am being the loyal customer of ICICI group since last 18 years I have been given the kind of services what I am getting. Nothing more but I at least expect the credit of 50K to my credit card which is again from ICICI Bank account before 10th. Anyways after this also I will be having credit in my card account and till the time I don't utilize it actually I am not benefited against the actual money I have paid against false credit card transaction. - Sanket Rane
