Dear sir/madam
ICSI has fixed minimum stipend for 15 months training and also minimum working hours for 15 months training, but most of the company secretaries in practice follow the rule of minimum stipend but not minimum working hours.
They pay less and make us to work for more than 9 hours a day and also work on Saturdays and in season time working hours is more than 10 hours a day.
I agree that practical knowledge and learning is very important for the students and we should definitely learn everything during training period, but studying and preparing for exams are equally important, as we have to put efforts for clearing the modules and gaining knowledge. For those who do training and studies simultaneously, it's difficult for them to work for long hours.
I request the institute to make some changes in the working hours of the training which would be flexible for both students and company secretaries in practice.
Kindly consider my request as this problem is faced by many students.
Thanking you. Was this information helpful? |
