[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — Data pack lapse

I have recharged my datapack o[censored]nlimted 2g pack of rs.298/- on 01/04/16
On 09/04/16 i received a recharge of rs 49/- (This recharge was not done by me as i am already using an unlimited plan so why will i do a fresh recharge in this validity period. This pack was activated mistakenly by someone who was recharging on his no.
But unfortunately he entered the wrong no. So the rs 49/- pack benefits were credited in my account which was a loss for me as it lapsed my unlimted pack)
I was unaware of data being lapsed and was using the pack as i knew the validity of the pack is 28 days till 28/04/16 and this caused again a loss of 68 rs from my main account balance.When spoken to customer care they told me about the lapse of data and over usage charges are charged.

Its not the matter of 298 + 68 = 366 rs loss for me for using a unlimited pack which turned out to me a limited 2g pack with usage to 1.5gb in 10 days.

Quite strange the matter is that a third person has the rights whether i can use my net pack and he has the right to lapse my net pack.
Despite the net pack being lapsed the validity its showing is 28/04/16 while checking using *125# ussd.

Being such a reputed company we don't expect loopholes in your system.
It seems that i have the rights of a person who is using a 3g pack of 1200 or 1800 rs.
If i do a net pack recharge of barely 20 rs on his account will lapse his netpack balance.
What a system ?
What assurance do you give me that next time when i do a netpack recharge the pack won't be lapsed.
The trust level has decreased and i don't feel to recharge a datapack again.


Request you to kindly rectify such loopholes and solve issues of customers

Thank you for showing interest in this matter and consulting with higher authorities I do appreciate. 40% amount has been refunded. (As fault is from 3rd party) Such loopholes of data pack being lapsed should be rectified as Idea provides 4 data pack account so the data must be carry forwarded with different validity.
Idea Cellular customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

As usual and as expected Idea representatives are hopeless and helpless..
They just only know

They even don't get into the matter because there is no proper channel for communication and have half knowledge which they are trained off.
They are unable to direct and solve new queries and close the matter by saying we have only this much information provided to us and we cannot do anything.

That's strange then how can you say we regret the inconvenience caused to you.
Only response I got in 2 days is:

No resolution from the Appellate authority too.
They are just here to make money out of it without resolving customer issues.
Service Request number 1-[protected] dated 13th April 2016 given by you is not entitled for appeal while dialing 198 and entering the last four digits.
Service Request number Q1-[protected] dated 17th April 2016 given by you is not entitled for appeal while dialing 198 and entering the last four digits.
Provide the right SR No. to Appeal.
Still no response even after 4 days.
Didn't get any SR No. to Appeal.
Loosing expectation level
