[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — Unethical charges and Rude talking of Idea C.Care executives

This torture began by Idea GPRS service since April 14 onwards when without any pre-request Idea started quietly GPRS PACK service on my mobile and when I came through this via email sent to me that a service was activated on my mobile, immediately I had made a call to C.care and asked about the detail and surprisingly they told me this service was requested by me for which they never-ever able to produce evidence. Thereafter I emailed to them and got replied that its motivational package on 50% discount, however I have refused to take such service but despite several request they first deactivate and than again activate that and lastly I forced to take unlimited package on higher charges. Till 7th Nov. 14 some how I bear this torture and thereafter I decided to finally stop this GPRS service completely and made a call to C.care but till 9th Nov 14 the service remains activated than again I made a call to C.Care executive and finally GPRS services deactivated. Here important point to be noted down that my bill generate on 10th of every month. On 11th Nov. I received shocking bill whereas Rs. 514 charged made for GPRS data usage between 7th to 9th Nov. I surprised, how it is possible??? Thereafter I again made a call to C.care and shocked to knew that on 7th Nov. 14 the customer care cleverly deactivate the GPRS unlimited pack but kept on GPRS services on pro-rata base...I wrote several mails but all in the veins they never responded over the mistake neither they realize the customer pain. My points are: 1. When request made on 7th Nov. 14 to completely stop the services of GPRS. Than why it was not stopped 2. When already unlimited pack was there till 10th Nov. 14 than how excess date usages charge can be levy for the data usage between 7th and 9th Nov. 14? Even their telephonic C.care always talk rudely and don't have sense how to talk with customer, my this number is corporate connection despite that they are behaving in highly unprofessional manner. I have three phone connection from Idea and thinking about to switch to another operator.

Its not acceptable at all, since I have requested to completely close the GPRS service on 7th Nov. 14 and cleverly executive only closed unlimited GPRS pack and kept started default GPRS service. I had never been informed either through SMS or EMAIL that only pack service was closed and default service would remain open.

Thereafter I continued use the phone till 9th and thereafter since my bill generate on 10th of every month I again call back to your C.care executive for closing the GPRS service.

My point is when on 9th Nov. 14 complete GPRS service closed than why it was not done on the request made on 7th Nov. 14. This unlimited pack was till 10th Nov. and making the call was to close the entire GPRS service not for closing only unlimited pack. The charges made between the period of 7th Nov. to 9th Nov 14 is highly unjustified and unethical and shouldn't be made.

I can make the payment after deducting 515 (plus service tax etc.) and deserve to pay.
Finally I have decided to switch my all connection from IDEA to another service provider considering its repeatedly unethical charges and unfriendly customer care behaviour.
