Ids Infotech Mohali — Tax deduction without asking for savings proof

I'd like to file a complaint against IDS HR Baljit Bidlan. My last working day at IDS was Feb 1st and while filling the exit form I asked her about submission of my savings proof. She said that she will keep me updated and will ask for the same. I kept a follow up with her and she never reverted or answered my calls. Also, it took 2 months for them to clear my dues and credit my last month's salary and FNF. Althou I was on contract and not a regular employee. It's not just about money, but it is illegal to deduct my tax, without asking for savings proof. I had filled the declaration form at the time of joining and I did have my savings. How can they not ask me or inform me about all this.

HR doesn't have any right to simply ignore this if the employee is no longer with the organization. I have been through a lot of mental harassment. This should be noted as illegal. And the HR should be warned about this so that no one else has to go through all this.
