[Resolved] IFB Appliances — washing machine elena vx frequent repairs | |||
I have purchased above machine on 17.4.2012.from UBC tirur malapuram kerala.In addition to normal warranty of 4 yrs i paid for extra period of another two more yrs and now warranty is up to 3.5.2018.during the service period of last twq and half years machine became defective 3 times. first complaint was that waste water pump not working.second one was timer stuck up and latest was drum bent and touching body created friction and burning of insulation during spin. previous 2 complaints were attended by service centre.latest they told that drum has to come from other unit.3rd complaint was registered on friday on 30th jan 15 through dealer &.at customer care on monday2.2.15. my ticket no is[protected].customer ID is3366224.I am waiting for attention.how long it will take to get the drum? I express my dissatisfaction over the performance of this machine.It make me worried.It is not trouble free..total investment on machine wasRs19500+warranty extention Rs.1684 +accessoriesRs2800 Will you take care of my comments &do something to improve the trust bestowed on your company. I am sorry to write this letter.On5-2-15 as i wrote early your technician attended my complaint and went.To my dismay when the machine was engaged on 7-2-15 it started a whistling sound during spin.It is due to drum on rotation rubbing body and creating friction making motor to strain.This is similar to earlier complaint.Even after changing the drum if the defect repeat what is to be told about efficiency of service?
I have no words to explain you other than that this is disgusting.I have given to customer care my feed back on attention that I am NOT satisfied with service.Two men worked for 2 hrs without result.Very bad indeed. The drum which should rotate freely on hand push is rubbing some where and resist smooth revolve.Let me conclude saying I am fed up.

on 9-2-15 on contacting service centre, manager was kind enough to send another technician to attend repeated defect.He was talented and did find the cause of defect and working for 3hrs rectified the problem.A rubber bush at drum seat was replaced.I hereby thank IFB network for their timely attention.Hope that IFB will take care of customers in future also.thank you-

Even though I maintain to say that performance of the machine is not satisfactory as it became defective 3 times within a period of 2 and half years.Consider the cost of machine.It cost Rs.20000/-So a customer expect worth on his investment.IFB may think about this comment.
