Old complaint no 15852760 dated june 26th Followup complaint no 16001408 July 16th customer id 10702513 I raised one complaint on June 26th regarding my microwave not working well which never get entertained the complaint details are as below [protected]@ifbglobal.com To [protected]@yahoo.com Jun 26 Dear Customer, against your recent call a Ticket is generated i.e Ticket 15852760 and the Technician will visit Shortly. Later when I called back IFB customer care asking why nobody turned up yet they closed the old ticket and raised a new one as per the forwarded mail and then one support guy visited my place and declared that one of the board needs to be replace and will cost around 4K and as the warranty void on July 4th I have to pay the amount from my pocket, when I informed him that I raised the concern during warranty period and that ticket get attached to this new ticket, he replied back that I don't have any special instruction regarding this old ticket then I told him ok you will start procedure to get the new board and meantime I will check with customer care if it is covered under warantty. hence I called the customer care they confirmed me that as you raised the concern under warranty it will definetly get cover under warranty and in turn they gave me the telephone # of Mr Rajkumar who is the some area manager of Banagalore and assured me that they will forward all the details to Mr Rajkumar (Mobile: [protected] and landline[protected] which replies as number not working) as well so I have to contact him and the board will get replaced under warranty, since then Mr. Rajkumar is playing around and every other day when I call him he give the phone to someone to talk and try to assure me that our support guy will visit today for sure but nothing happen till date Today they gave number of some Mr Ravi ([protected]) and when I called that fellow he told me that you need to write a mail to customer care and on that mail customer care will give instructions to us and then only the board can be replaced under warranty. I am not sure what actually is going on is it the support team in Bangalore who don't want to serve or is it something related with IFB after sales services as I refused to upgrade the warranty, IFB don't want to entertain the complaints raised by me. The reason I wouldn't upgraded the warranty is in last full year means till date I bought the product no service engineer visited for a regular maintenance while for other products from other brands I am using the service engineer visit is scheduled quarterly and they follow the schedule, while in case of IFB even raising the complaint no body turned up and if some one turned up they try to indulge in some wrong practices not sure if this may be the reason of not resolving the complaint on local level. I sent so many mails to the customer care email id [protected]@ifbglobal.com but no body bothered to reply

However, to fix your machine and make it operational we need to replace PCB Board for which we have already given you the estimation for repairs. Charges as per our regular pricing would be applicable. Do let us know when you would like us to fix your machine and we would be more than happy to help.

Hi IFB Team,
One can easily imagine how worst the customer care service is when you don't have someone to at least make the generic customer care email id working by clearing the space so new mail can arrive and if one sends a mail he will never get a reply back not even a automated acknowledgement.

Seems no one checks those mail at all.
Hi IFB Team,
The point is that when I raised the complaint in warranty period why should I pay, is it because your team didn't attended the call on time I will pay from my pocket.
Is this the right way to support that wait till the warranty void and then attend the call so the customer has to pay the repairing / replacement charges...
