Sir,
I am a consumer of IFB Washing machine model Elena 5.5 lys. Early during the year the machine developed a problem and a part had to be replaced. The Authoursed service centre technician replaced the part and charged us Rs 2667/- Within few months it again got damaged and this time the service centre personnel is again demanding yet another Rs 2700/- for its replacement.
I fail to understand that if the part was genuine then why should the service centre person again charge me for the same within 7 months when the normal warranty for any electronic product is 1 year. Is it not the responsibility of the company to extend me warranty for the replaced part for at least an year?
The IFB authorized service partner Ms Hitech Services having address as TC 11/1188(1), Kalabham, Chantavila, Kattayikonam PO, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, should get the part free of cost as the
y miserably failed to give me quality spare parts and also to extend the standard warranty of 1 year on the replaced part.
