[Resolved] IFB — Poor service and non availability of spares | |||
Dear Sir I am very much disappointed with the after sale service IFB is providing. I am having an IFB microwave model: 25SC2. One year back I had to change some defective part of microwave oven. Now my microwave is again under repair. It's been almost one year since it's not working. The plastic knob in the center of the compartment which rotates the plate melted away. So the dealer had to replace the plastic part...but till date the part is not available. Now recently they asked me to replace the motor to the new model so that the suitable plastic knob will be available. I have to pay for both motor and the plastic part. (cost of plastic part is only 50rs and motor 1500rs) So far there is no response from the dealer. Is this the way IFB should treat its customer. I have been using IFB home appliances from last 15 years. This is my first bad experience with IFB. Now I am going to file complaint in consumer court against IFB. Dealer:QRS Retail Ltd.
