I have purchased IFB fully automatic front loading washing machine around 9-10 years back.
Now machine is not functioning because machine has developed a technical problem and to rectify the problem I did lodge a complaint with IFB, on dated 25.7.2014 vide Ticket No[protected]. Local service providers from IFB franchise visited the machine and reported that Machine being 9-10 years old, spare parts can not be made available hence problem can't be rectified. This complaint was cancelled, without my consent (Ex-parte).
Then second complaint was lodged on 30.7.214. vide Ticket no[protected]. This is pending.
After this I contacted IFB company Chandigarh service centre and reported the problem in detail. Who, also in turn, was blunt in telling that since spare parts are not available hence problem can not be rectified. and suggested to buy new machine from IFB.
My concern is:
1. IFB fully automatic washine machine is a high value premium product of the company. Does the life of the product company offer to customer is only 10 years.
2. If yes, then why same is not mentioned on the invoice/ brouchers.
3. If spare parts for the machines after ten years are not available will customer prefer to buy high value product from IFB?
4. Since I have IFB product can I request IFB company to rectify the problem in the machine and with in how much time.
5. If no, will customer be not right to knock the door of Consumer Forum/ civil court to seeks the justice?
Feedback to other customer:
Dear All: If you are purchasing IFB high end /. high value machine think that this investment is for ten years only after this you will have to scrap the machine. Was this information helpful? |
