I am customer of gold loan in IIFL at Vansthalipuram Branch, Hyderabad, Telangana

As branch manager called me on 14/07/2015 that my gold would be auctioned on 22/07/2015.so i asked branch to give some time to pay the interest for a period 10 days .but he refused to give time .and i asked him serve notice before auction .for that he refused to do so.and your iifl company had not even published paper add on particular auction.
i want to know how could the iifl comapny have a right to auction the gold with out notice and paper add.
i want to clear that none of the official are responding regarding this issue.is this is way you treat your customer and i sincerely request you to do the auction as per term and condition rules given by RBI.
if my gold auction done with out prior notice and paper add . i am ready to proceed thru legal in the court

I am also iifl gold loan customer having same issues as like you, I am going to file an PIL in Supreme court against iifl and RBI, can you please share your mail id so that we can collect a data. My mail id is [protected]@gmail.com
I also had same issue. Gold auctioned without notice so kindly reply me back on filing a complaint for the same. Also I have not got any difference amount also as they said all the auctions were in loss.

They are legally bound to give ex gartia payment to their customers if they auctioned pledge property, they are also bound by RBI rules, if not followed by them, you can file your complaint in banking ombudsman as well as you can approach High Court of your jurisdiction by civil writ.
