India Post — PPF cheque submitted is missing

I have submitted cheque of rs.50, 000 for PPF account at Airoli Post Office on september 30th 2015. The cheque was encashed from my bank account on 19th October 2015. But when I updated my passbook on 20th Nov 2015, I dont have entry of 50, 000 which I tranferred on my PF account. They said that the cheque got missing.
