When I registered for this plan, this was 3990 INR and now it is 4450 INR. Although I am not aware of their services on the go of the plan after using the vouchers etc, I am really very disappointed with the miscommunication of IHO in the initial phase. And I do not have any trust left to recommend others to join IHO. Instead I strongly recommend people to stay away from IHO. I received a call from IHO explaining the plan and the plan was good. I did question the executive few times if there would be any additional payments to be done in order to use the vouchers provided with this plan. The executive confirmed every time that I do not have to pay anything to use the vouchers. So I enrolled to this plan on the same day (10-Jul-2014) after consulting my parents. Executive promised me that I will receive the eCard of all the 4 members included in the plan within 24 hrs of registration. However, I received it only after I requested for the eCard on next day after waiting for 24hrs time period. Executive had mentioned that I would be receiving the Welcome Kit within 10 working days of the registration which would be 21-Jul-2014. However, I received the kit on 23-Jul-2014. I was shocked to see the Note in each voucher that I NEED TO PAY RS.200 PER VOUCHER IN ORCER TO USE THE COUPON. And this was only identifiable after receiving kit and not with the eCard as the eCard will not have any such details. Immediately, I raised a Cancellation request on 27-Jul-2014. As per the Cancellation Policy, the request should be raised for cancellation within 14 days of receipt of the package. And following are the terms for cancellation to be considered a valid request: Cancellations shall be considered only if (i) a valid request is made in this regard within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of the Health care Package Membership by you, and (ii) the entire Health care Package Membership's Welcome Pack is returned to IHO within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of the cancellation request as aforesaid. For calculation of the aforesaid periods, the records of dispatch, delivery and communications available with IHO shall be considered final. As per this, even my request was valid and calculation of days of request was also valid. My request was not reverted until I contacted IHO via repeat reminders to my email and via calls. Finally I received an email that Cancellation Department is reviewing this request on 21-Sep-2014. And no updates were provided to me until 13-Oct-2014 when I sent a reminder. A week later I received a call from IHO that they would be provide a refund of Rs.800 admitting the miscommunication from IHO. And executive told me that she would discuss with the plan and refund details with me in the evening. But she did not call me. Instead I received an NEFT notification of Rs.800 on 27-Oct-2014. Currently the kit is with IHO. Hence, I sent a email on 28-Oct-2014 asking for the reasons for not cancelling my package. And I am awaiting their reply...
