Indian Overseas Bank — Irresponsible dealing of, your manager adoor branch | |||
My name is Samuel Samkutty and I am an NRI and working in Kuwait since more than 25 years. I am having the NRE account No. [protected] with IOB since more than 25 years. I have various deposits with your bank. However, recently I have received an enquiry from Income Tax Office, Thiruvalla requesting my NRE account details with the banks. I sent this request to your Adoor branch during October. Later I have repeated email and had telephone calls 3 tiles with your branch manager. I can provide all the evidences in this regard. I am sorry to say that, instead of issuing such certificate, she is simply giving excuses, noting that the same mail I sent to other banks and I received the certificate from them in 2 days. My submission is getting delayed because of the negligence of your bank. I am thinking to transfer all my deposits to other decent banks and close the account with IOB.
