Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — Complaint for missing of name on waiting list and wrong information given ttc | |||||
I had booked a ticket on 31.05.2016 bearing PNR number [protected] which was booked on waiting list number 105, but on 01.06.2016 I had seen the list was updated and the waiting list number changed to 11, regarding which I received a confirmation message from irctc. However, my name was not there on the chart prepared, so I contacted a Ticket Checker regarding this. He told me that my ticket has become void and I have to travel with a new ticket. Therefore I booked another general ticket to travel. Now I have some questions : 1. Will I get money refund to my account for the waiting ticket. 2. why the checker did not allow me to board on train with the mentioned PNR ticket. 3. How does a ticket booked on irctc get void after deducting money from the consumer's account. 4. What is the process to get proper information on time regarding such matters. I want my money back with least time gap, since previously I have been cheated in the same manner by IRCTC. When I had cancelled a ticket with PNR [protected] I did not get back the refund money. I made certain complaints regarding that but in vain. Yet now I did not get that money back even after completing all the procedures as instructed by the customer care executive like I made an official complaint online then I forwarded a scan copy of my bank passbook for their reference.
