[Resolved] Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — Ticket fare deducted but ticket not booked | |||||
Today on 16th March I tried to book my ticket from Gomti Express(train number 12419) going from Kanpur(CNB) to New Delhi (NDLS). It took all my details (name, age, birth preference, my cell no. etc) and then I made payment of total fare of Rs. 192.90 (170 rs. fair + 22.70 rs. service tax) from citi bank debit card. Payment was done, my account was debited with total fare but My ticket did not got booked . Now what should I do? Several times I called on Customer care number but no body responded. Please refund the total amount in my citi bank a/c. I am here providing my IRCTC Refrence number. Refrence number :[protected] PLease contact on my cell no. Mar 17, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved I'm happy that IRCTC took the action within a day and total amount 192.90 got refunded (and yes 10 rs. irctc charge and 1.45 rs swachh bharat cess is deductd but thats ok ) back in my a/c.
