Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — Burglary in sleeper coach
Date of Incident - 3/12/2016 early morning Place of Incident - In Telangana state My parents were travelling from Mumbai to Orissa in Konark expressin sleeper coach. My mom went for washing her face and she was carrying her purse. One person snatched her purse and jumped from running train. My concern is why there are no security guard in each coach. And people who doesn't have the sleeper tickets are also being allowed to enter into sleeper class. Even though we are paying for sleeper class but its more like general. Ticket collectors are not doing their job properly and there is no security guard during night time. If this thing continues common people will stop travelling in train. My sincere request please take the initiatives and increase the security system and dont allow outside intruders. Was this information helpful?
