Indian Railways, IRCTC — Cancelled Ticket payment not yet received | |||
I had cancelled two tickets on 27th June for the travel date 19th July with Train No : 12519 . I had booked the ticket from Bank of Baroda account but the gateway that was provided by IRCTC for payment was CITI bank. i have co-ordinated IRCTC several times, written several mails for these as usually the refund is done within a week . After calling many times, they responded that the refund was processed on 29th June itself to the payment gateway bank and we cannot provide much information after that . i also contacted my bank to the about the refund but no refund was there for the account . then i again contacted irctc, and told the same where they told we are in process to know the status . Till today 21 July 2015 they are yet in process and they do not provide any information more on that. Checking the irctc website it displays the message as not yet refunded . The IRCTC Ticket id is : IRCTC #1759789. i Forgot to mention that .

Now the status has been changed in IRCTC login account stating that the amount has been refunded on 17th july but i have not received the amount yet in my bank account from where the irctc ticket id was booked, i have again called several times and mailed to irctc after 24th july 2015 attaching the bank statement history where the irctc customer care told we will respond you within 48 hours, i has been 4 days and no response have been there from the irctc side . i am also attaching here the bank statement history, and have also inquired the bank where they stated if the amount is received to us it will be definitely credited to the account . This behaviour depects how IRCTC is irresponsible for it's customer's and it has been more than a month now from the date of ticket cancelled and no refund has been processed yet.
I request the consumer complaints team to take a strict action on this to have a quick resolution .
