Indian Railways — No whereabouts about my parcel | |||||
I would like to bring this to your notice regarding my bike royal enfield thunderbird the parcel i'd number 036938 which was sent from jamnagar to lonavla via vivek express train number 19568 from oka to tuticorin is not delivered and the whereabouts of the bike are not known till date i. E after six days of sending the bike. I have approached the parcel office in lonavla and they told me that lonavla didn't have the facility to load or unload any parcel (Please note that i wasn't told about this when i booked it from jamnagar to lonavla). And they informed that it might've gone to pune. I asked them to help me out by contacting the parcel office in pune which they couldn't. Ive gone all the way from lonavla to pune and checked only to see that my bike hasn't arrived even in pune. The saddening part is that when i approached lonavla and pune parcel sections and station master of lonavla station i didn't get any support or help regarding my issue and they were blaming each other that it's not their responsibility. They have even gone to an extent of saying they didn't unload from the train as it came at night and people dont unload it at night and that in lonavla it needs to be informed in advance to do so. It is very disheartening to see how railway official respond to the public and the unprofessional behavior they have towards the public... I am in a state of confusion as to whom to approach and know the whereabouts regarding g my parcel. I would like you take an immediate action.
