Indigo Airlines — Cheating scheme

I’m writing in regards to a very distasteful experience I had as I was denied boarding my Indigo flight.(details are as above). My booking for route Mumbai-BLR-Mumbai cost me a total of Rs. 6295/-. On the 2nd leg of my journey (Blr to Mum, 5th Jan at 5.20am). I had done a web check one day prior to my flight. On the day of my travel (being aware that I would need to check in 45 mins prior to departure) i had reached the first counter by 4.40 this is after fighting huge traffic lead by heavy fog out side the entrance of the airport. After going to the first counter they informed me that I cant bored the flight after making several request the person at the counter informed me to go and speak to the duty manager on the counter number 26, At the counter number 26 (Time 4.44 am) i was told that i will need to rebook myself on the next available flight. Since i had to report back to office on the same day, I had no other option but to rebook my ticket on the next flight which was announced to depart at 6.10 am at an unbelievable extra charge of Rs. 6, 271 (PNR - KCJ9QA). Kindly note that the first flight instead of taking off at 5.20 took off at 5.14am (6 mins ahead of the scheduled departure time) as per indigo website. The flight in which I was rebooked was in fact delayed by 2 hr 5 mins. Request Indigo to answer the following questions 1) Why was I made to pay for the ticket for the next flight when I already had an existing ticket? 2) Why was I being penalised for the traffic jam at the entrance of the airport which is totally beyond my control 3) Why was I made to pay double the fare, which I paid for the original ticket , Thee ground staff could have given options to bored the flight and they could have sent the checkin bag in the next flight. 4) Why has Indigo become such a money making company that fleecing the customers becomes a priority rather than empathising with the customer. 5) If Indigo says their 2nd flight was rightfully delayed due to fog conditions, why wasn't my reason of delay due of heavy traffic which was a result of the heavy fog at the entrance valid, both the reasons being beyond our control. Indigo has always been my preferred airline for travelling but this incident has left me with a very bitter taste.. This is the new way for the Budget airlines to make more money... Scam scheme..
