I have an IGL png connection in Crossongs republik, I received bills till september 2015 but did not receive any bills after that, called them up on customer care so many times, there also the waiting time was always more than 10 min, even after that so many times call gets disconnected as soon as any operator takes up the call. I got a complaint# [protected] for this issue, when I am not receiving any bills without any of my faults, then why will I pay the late charges, even after my complaint there was no action on this complaint.
Second Issue, when I got fed up with not receiving the bills, I thought of making the online account, with my continous efforts I was able to make one, I could see my bill there and then I thought of make a payment the bill was for Approx Rs/- 1360, this amount is with late payment charges. I made the payment of this amount using the online portal of IGL, there also I showed as my transaction got failed and the amount was deducted from my bank, I again tried to call IGL customer care, they gave me a new complaint# [protected], now here is what they had to say for my two complaints:
For complaint # [protected] they say that they have filed the complaint and bill will reach you in 3-4 working days, but whan I told them that I have yet not received any bill, they say they cant do anything in this, I have to visit their RK Puram branch to get this resolved, Is this what I have taken this connection for, leaving my office I will just keep on going to RK Puram branch to know why I am not receiving my bill.
For complaint #[protected]:- I made this payment on 19-Apr-2016, I cpmplaint for the transaction failed issue the very same day, for which I got a mail that this will be resolved by 04-May-2016, nothing has happened till date, everytime I talk to customer care they just have to say that It will take 4-5 days, then they started saying it will take 7-8 days for it to get updated, today again I called up the customer care then he had nothing to say, he said he had given my complaint to back office, now I have to talk in back office to know its status. IGL has again generatd my bill and now it is of Rs/- 1700 some paise. Please let me know what if again I make an attempt to pay this bill and again the transaction gets failed do I have to repeat this whole process again, Am I suppose to take this as my primary job, leaving all my other things, IGL portal is most of the time down, many a times the customer care says that Our server is down we cant tell you anything at this time, why are you taking up the calls at a time when you cant help any one, and why are running this customer care when you cant help any customer on their complaints, you only direct cases sometimes to Back office and others to RK Puram branch. What kind of a service is this?
I am really very disappointed and tortured with this behaviour of IGL's customer care.
