[Resolved] Indusind Bank — Sending credit card statement even after closing the account | |||||
INDUSIND BANK FRAUD I was having IndusInd Bank credit card with 274, 000 Limit. I used it to the full limit. Later I decided to close the card and repaid the whole amount that was told by the IndusInd customer care executive. In fact bank refunded 140 Rs saying that I paid excess amount. I also received Card closing confirmation SMS from the bank. They asked me to break the credit card and throw it away and I did that. Later after 1 month they started sending me statements. I ignored it for few days. Now the whole amount has become 4500+ which is ridiculous. I wrote to IndusInd bank about the issue and my outstanding amount was 285249.65 and since my card outstanding was beyond the assigned limit, you have been charged an over limit fee INR 500 plus service tax. I want to understand why customer care executive hasn't informed me about this over limit fee? When there is over limit fee pending why should the bank send me SMS saying that my account has been closed? I want IndusInd bank to urgently doing this fraud. Thank you, Sudheer.
