[Resolved]  Insurance Verification Department — Regarding dividend on insurance

i got a call from [protected] saying that i had a dividend due on my insurance policy worth Rs 1.25 lakhs.Based on my PAN and DOB a file number was generated.This had to be provided to another person who would call.I got the second call today around 11:30 .The person said he was calling from Insurance Verification Department.The number was [protected]. After the first call, i thought something was wrong and did not provide any details in the second call.Please suggest if these numbers are valid.And if in order to claim a dividend on policy such calls are initiated.
