Intex Mobile — Service is not provided while the product is on warranty

Hi, I purchased INTEX IBUDDY CONNECT Tablet for internet need of my competitive exams, on date[protected] from Prakash Music Center Bhopal. This product comes along with the warranty of 1 year. After facing several problems I got battery problem in JUNE 2014, then I went service center for it, service adviser told me that battery is dead you need to replace it and your battery is out of warranty(As they provide warranty only 6 months for battery) so you have to pay Rs 1400 for it, I agreed him. And I submitted my tablet with complaint number[protected]T001 on[protected]The day when I saw last time my Tablet). Adviser told that we take 7 days to repair it. After 7 days I went service center and the adviser told that battery will be couriered from delhi HO you wait for some days. On[protected] I called customer care([protected]) and customer care executive (RAHUL) told me that we have filed an escalation for it and you will definitely get solution within 7 days. I waited. Again I called Customer Care on[protected] and executive told me that Company has stopped manufacturing of Intex iBuddy Connect Tablet so there is a problem of parts for that and you need to wait for some time. I waited. On[protected] I called customer care and went service center too they told me that still they do not have battery wait for some time. Again I called customer care on[protected], executive(Nisha) told me that your battery has been dispatched and it will reach Bhopal in some days. I waited happily. I called customer care on[protected] executive shocked me by telling that the complaint has been closed with RWR(Return Without Repair) on[protected] where on[protected], executive told me that it battery was dispatched then how is it closed on[protected] then he told me to talk to service center. I went service center and told them that my tablet is in warranty period and it is your responsibility to keep it working until the period ends. After arguing they told me to submit all the accessories of tablet and they will provide me replacement for it. On[protected] I submitted all accessories and they told me that we will make another complaint for it as previous one was closed, so they given another job sheet with complaint number[protected]T001 and told to wait 15 days. I called customer care to know status on[protected], executive told me that your tablet has been sent to company for replacement. I called on[protected] and I was told to wait some more time we will provide you mobile in replacement so the process take some paper work and will take time. Then I called on[protected] and executive shocked me again by telling that your tablet has been REPAIRED (where complaint was of replacement) but not dispatched from company to service center, wait for some time. I went service center next day and service adviser shocked me again by telling that your tablet is NOT REPAIRED(but Customer care told it is repaired) and it is at TRC now, go and ask there. On next day I went TRC( Test and Repair Center), after arguing them they told me to make another complaint and they will provide me a certain replacement and they gave me another tablet to use for the duration of replacement, I agreed and filed another complaint with Job sheet number[protected]T001 on[protected] and I was told to wait 15 days. I called on[protected] executive told that it is under process. Again I called customer care on[protected] and executive (Ankit) told me that your tablet has been REPAIRED (same as last time) and sent to service center, collect it from there. I went service center and adviser told me that we did not receive yet, go TRC. I went TRC and I talked to Mr Prashant Vashist, and he shocked me again by telling that your tablet has been SENT to HO delhi, it will not return ever from there and the tablet which was given to use for replacement period you keep that tablet for yourself. I submitted the tablet which was given to use and told him that I will not take the thing which is impossible to be repaired in future(as manufacturing was stopped). And also my warranty period have finished so if the tablet stopped working after reaching home then I will not have another option to through it on DUSTBIN. Then TRC(Mr Prashant Vashist) told me that WE CANNOT HELP YOU.

For the whole duration from[protected] to[protected], I called each person of company for help, but nobody was solving or giving a satisfactory answer for it. Numbers I contacted are [protected] [protected] [protected](Delhi HO), [protected](Indore Office), [protected](Customer Care), [protected](Service Center Bhopal), [protected] [protected] [protected](TRC Bhopal), in these contact numbers some were not attending or just navigating to eachother. In this duration I have not seen my tablet after submitting it at service center on[protected], and still it is not with me.
Now it is not the question of Rs7590 for me, It is the question that how they people treat their customers. I believed INTEX but now I am not satisfied with any service provided by intex service centers. If any senior person from intex is reading then please try to teach your Service Center employees, they are not only misbehaving but also reducing your business.
Finally, after all the troubles, I have filed a written complaint at CONSUMER FOURUM Bhopal in the month of January. I believe our jurisdiction system and one day I will definitely get good judgment for my grievances.

Oh, If intex cheats like this then I am not going to buy a single product from there. I was earlier planning to but some products costing around 50, 000 but now I am not going to take this risk.
