[Resolved] Irctc — Pantry car facility | |||
My family started a journey 16346 Netravati Exp. on 05.07.2014 from Aluva, Kerala. There was no proper Pantry Car facility in this train for our entire journey up to Thane. On making enquiry with few Pantry Car personnel it is came to know that the contractor of the train is changed w.e.f. 05.07.2014. My query is:- 1) How can Railways discontinue the Pantry Car Contractor without proper arrangement? 2) If there is any problem with Pantry Car facility, it should have informed the passengers in advance. Why this was not done? 3) The hygiene in the Pantry Car is pathetic. Rats and cockroaches were visible everywhere. Why there is no proper cleaning is happening in the train? 4) We have paid the excess charges as per the increase in rate w.e.f. 25.06.2014. Why railway authority is not taking care of its passengers? 5) Why should I pay Rs. 4277/- + Rs. 600/- for 3 of my family for the this kind of pathetic journey? 6) The facilities in the platforms through out the Konkan Railway is not even sufficient for 1 compartment. AC ticket travellers are always suffering because of that.Why there is no sufficient food stalls in the platforms where express trains are stopping? 7) Why shouldn't I ask for the refund for such third class journey in AC compartment with such soaring rate of ticket?
