ITC — Cigarettes being sold to the retailers without TAX INVOICE

Dear Sir, We at Family Care departmental stores, Golf Gardens Kolkata 700033 have been selling cigarettes since 2009. With constant request and persuasions, about 6 months back the distributor of ITC, M/s Ridhi Sidhi Tobacco Pvt Ltd. started issung proper TAX INVOICE against supply of cigarettes, VERY RELUCTANTLY. Suddenly since May 2015 they stopped issuing INVOICES again and informed over phone their inability to issue BILLS. It may please be noted that our purchase of cigarettes(ITC brand) is to the tune of Rs30000 to Rs.40000 per month. As we sell cigarettes and all our products against "proper bills" it is very much necessary that we procure our goods against "proper bills" We are at a loss to understand as to how the company can refuse to issue bills, when the Govt. has issued directives to sell/purchase goods against TAX BILLS only. We have sent 3 mails to ITC customer care but there has been no response to date. We await your response in this regard.
