Jet Airways — Baggage charge | |
I was enquiring about my baggage as I was not sure whether they would honour my international travel allowance on my domestic flight. As I did not get a reply I packed 2 pieces of baggage per person with the domestic allowance of 15 kgs each. But during check in at the airport, I was shocked to know that domestic travel within India allowed only one piece per person. I was not informed of this in any of the numerous conversations I had with their customer service agents over the phone nor made clear in any of the emails. This unacceptable customer service cost me a lot of money. If I was informed correctly, I would have made alternative arrangement for my extra bags.
This seems like a very unethical means of making money at a customer's cost. One of the cheaper low fare airline in India treats their customers better. After such a foul experience, . I did not see any value in flying a 'renowned' airline and next time I will keep this in mind. When someone is willing to pay higher fare, one expects superior service. This was a total let down.
Followed up with customer service multiple times and my email has been ignored. They simply stopped responding. Very unprofessional. Was this information helpful? | |
