Kent RO Grand — Failure of Spare Parts | |||
My name is D'Mello, from Lucknow. The machine was purchased two years ago, but in a few months of purchase, there were failure of four or five UV lamps. While the Engineers used to replace the same, on my insistence, it was found that there was a defect in one black coloured box on the right side of the machine. When this was replaced, there was no problem. Since then, I have had the filters changed and one UV lamp changed, a few months ago. Today, the UV lamp has blown off again and when the engineer came to replace the same, he found that there was a water leakage from the motor and in the UV lamp chamber. The company is insisting on paid replacement. It must be understood that from technical point of view, the entire machinery is covered and there is no access to us. Leakage cannot be of a wear and tear nature, especially from the motor. I feel that being charged for replacement of an item which is clearly due to a possible inherent fault, is certainly not acceptable. For the interest of customer satisfaction, it is earnestly requested that the rectification of the leakage problem be handled by the company with no cost to me. I am fully ready to pay for the UV lamp which has blown and pay the normal service charges. An early attention and rectification of my Kent RO Grand would be highly appreciated.
