[Resolved] Kent RO — Problem in Kent Gold Smart Model | |||
I had purchased a Kent Gold Smart online water purifier in the month of September 2014. It was installed on 20th September 2014. Since the day of installation the auto shut-off mechanism of the water purifier is not working and hence water flow doesn't stop after the storage becomes full. The service engineer who installed the machine told that the float valve is not working and will be changed soon. However 26 days have passed and still the problem exists. The service center of my area Metro Sales and Services says that they don't have spare part for this model and hence they are not able to replace it. They asked me to speak to some other person who also hasn't taken any action yet. 1 month is about to complete out of 12 months warranty period. When will my problem be solved ? It seems the Kent service centers in Kolkata are indifferent to the complaint. None has contacted me yet. Problem still continues on 27th day.

Another 3 days have passed and no one has contacted yet. Kent has failed to rectify a simple problem even after 30 days. Its just 1 month of purchase and I regret purchasing Kent water purifier.
I wish I had read this review earlier. I have the same problem. The shut off mechanism worked for first few months before giving up. It's now over 3 weeks but they are unable to fix this issue. I regret buying Kent product now.
Earlier I was using Permionics filter that never gave me trouble even for a single day in 10 years. Kent products are substandard and not enough attention is given to rigorous testing whereby the products fail in the field.
I know this is a very late comment but after I got this similar issue that I started searching if someone else has faced similar issue in the past. This only reconfirms my thinking that indeed Kent products are substandard.
