This is regarding my experience with reckless driving of private buses in trichur and ernakulam part of Kerala. I am not sure if such a behaviour is limited only to these places. These goons not only compete among other private buses but also other small vehicles(cars & bikes) on the road putting the commuters, drivers of other small vehicles and even the pedestrains lives at risk. It is kind of a roller coaster ride with our lives at the mercy of these errant drivers. I have seen a old lady run over by one such private buses whilst a bid to evade the traffic signal. It was really a heart wrenching scene that gave me many sleepless nights. I am not really sure how many have raised their voices against this criminal act and if it has been heard.
